Easter Eggs

Collecting Eggs from my own chickens in the garden is a luxury that still makes my heart sing and does not show any signs of wearing off.

With 12 hens and a Cockerel called Oscar we never go short of eggs and I have just started to sell our excess at the front gate.

Despite having had a shop for many years I still get a thrill to find money in the jar, maybe its the whole trust thing, I just love the local community feel to it.

Oliver our resident Wolf helps keep the fox away during the daytime, allowing the girls to free range in 1 acre, although the vegetable beds do need protection from them at this time of the year as the young growth is now beginning to emerge.
